I haven't forgotten those of you that read the blog. I bought a new laptop and spent most of today getting it set up. It might take me a couple of days to get files switched from the ginormous desktop computer in my office to my laptop but as soon as I get that done, the whole blogging thing should be much easier.
Today I'm amazed at the change from a desktop to a laptop. I realize the laptop I bought (a Dell Latitude, used from craigslist) is certainly not cutting edge but it is such an upgrade for me that I'm a bit in awe of it.
And here's a moment from Sunday school for you before I head downstairs for Underground After School. The first thing I do with most groups I meet with is ask for a best and worst part of the day. I find it helps to gauge where everyone is and gives people a chance to share before we dive into a story or activity. So during Sunday School, I asked for ups and downs and got one of my favorite replies from Jake.
"The best part of my weekend was when I got to see my cows."
